Oreo’s recent Super Bowl commercial called for users to tag Instagram photos with #cookiethis or #cremethis. The cookie company then had in-house artists recreate select photos with either the cookie or cream part of Oreo cookies. Sound crazy? Well, that’s because it is. It’s zany, fun, and engaging for users. The campaign not only generated a lot of hype and awarded them with thousands of new engaged followers but also developed a more intimate and personal relationship with their customers.
