- How brands can score with millennials on Super Bowl Sunday: http://t.co/Xjwod85V0x Great post by @dberkowitz!
Oreo’s recent Super Bowl commercial called for users to tag Instagram photos with #cookiethis or #cremethis. The cookie company then had in-house artists recreate select photos with either the cookie or cream part of Oreo cookies. Sound crazy? Well, that’s because it is. It’s zany, fun, and engaging for users. The campaign not only generated a lot of hype and awarded them with thousands of new engaged followers but also developed a more intimate and personal relationship with their customers.
Developing new and creative ways to utilize social media, tv, and video apps to generate content and revenue is now a top priority. But how can your company tap into this new marketing strategy? As someone who has helped media companies develop these types of campaigns using Chute and other media apps like Instagram, Chute CEO Ranvir Gujral will be joining other top industry insiders at Digital Hollywood’s 2013 Media Summit to answer this question during the Best in Apps: TV, Social Media & Video – Developing Content and Revenue panel. The event takes place in New York City, and the panel is from 3:45 to 5 PM in room 208 on March 6.
