Chute Launches Salesforce Community Cloud App Bringing Compelling Visuals into Online Communities
Chute, the leaders in enterprise user generated content (UGC) marketing, today launches Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud. The new app simplifies the task of both using owned media and gathering and publishing community-driven visual content to promote further engagement among community participants, as well as reduce unnecessary support calls and emails. Throughout Dreamforce, Oct. 4-7, Salesforce Community Cloud customers can sign-up for a 30-day free trial to evaluate the effectiveness of infusing visuals into their branded communities with Chute’s app.
“Communities have many purposes and varying members, but one common challenge for community managers is getting and maintaining the attention of their audience,” said Ranvir Gujral, CEO, Chute. “Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud makes it possible for community managers to leverage the power of visuals to overcome this challenge, whether product images or photos shared by their community members, to not only add interest to their sites, but also more effectively communicate in order to accomplish their goals.”
Chute for Salesforce Community Cloud includes several Lightning-Ready Components, including:
- Social Galleries: Easily drop in photo galleries featuring product images or the photos of employees, partners and customers from events and conferences, launches and news announcements, social media, and contests, to increase participation
- Media Chooser: Allow community members to upload images and videos directly into the community site (upon moderation) for promotional contests or even for sharing images from the field
- Stories: Easily add photos and videos to text-based articles, including how to’s, guides and blog posts within Community Cloud to increase understanding and engagement
This new offering gives community managers a simple way to tap into compelling visuals to add authentic content to their online hubs. This can take the form of contests, enhancing text-based posts like how-tos, and highlighting community events. Plus, tie in strong calls-to-action by highlighting specific offerings with visual content and links to buy or learn more. All of this can be done with a mix of the brands’ owned and earned content.
